Breaking 203 News

I have updated the grades on WebCT.

First, I apologize but I still do not have the grades for POP QUIZ 4. If you took it but are still missing it, do not worry, it simply hasn't been entered in the gradebook yet.

Secondly, I have posted all LAB grades as points out of 25 (25 x 10 labs = 250 points)

Here how you can calculate the total points you have in the class so far.

1) Add the points from the first test

2) Add the 50 or the total points from all your map quizzes, whichever is lower

3)Multiply your pop quizes by 2 (since we graded on a scale of 5, not 10) and take their total or 50 whichever is lower.

4) Add the points from your labs. Remember that 1000 is the maximum possible points.

You can compute the points for each individual lab based on your lab assignement and lab quiz scores as follows 25 * ((lab assignment / 100) * 0.80 + (lab quiz / 10) * 0.20)

THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING
