Research Interests

I am interested in human-environment interactions and conservation opportunities in production landscapes, particularly along the agricultural frontier.  While my pivot foot remains in the social sciences, I look for opportunities to collaborate and learn from partners in the ecological and natural sciences.  Regionally, my work focuses on South America's Gran Chaco eco-region.
