Working with Juan M. Posada, of the Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Dr. Will Heyman and his students are helping to map the benthic habitats of the atoll. We are focused particularly on reef fish spawning aggregation sites and on critical habitat for endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtles.
