Impact

Dr. Chi’s research addresses the criticality of synthesizing coastal mapping, dynamic modeling of glacier changes, and geospatial image processing to monitor environmental changes. More specifically, her research focuses on implementing various applications of passive microwave remote sensing techniques in Geosciences for land cover change detection. She is keen on developing remote sensing image processing products to advance the details and frequency of natural resource monitoring.
