Research

My research interests primarily focus on geopolitics and political geography as they relate to United States foreign policy. Additionally, scales of identity, nation-state formation, ungoverned space, and state building form interest areas. I also research sports geography, focusing on English soccer and its globalization, as well as pride in a geographical location (place Pride) and identity as they relate to sports.
